Now Available, Gabb Curated Third-Party Apps
Helping kids learn how to safely navigate the online world is a crucial parenting responsibility today. It’s a task that can often feel overwhelming as a parent so one of our biggest goals at Gabb is to provide tools that make it easier to teach kids tech in steps.
No child, however mature, can be expected to handle a plunge into the deep end of the digital world—especially because the internet allows for a “depth” that none of us can really comprehend. It’s much healthier for them (and much less stressful for parents) to wade into that world gradually.
The Gabb Phone Plus was released in 2022 to build on the steps provided by our Gabb Watch and Gabb Phone. Like all Gabb devices, Gabb Phone Plus and the Gabb Phone don’t allow for social media, internet, or any unsafe apps. But they do give parents the opportunity to extend a little more freedom to kids or young teens who are ready for that.
Both the Gabb Phone Plus and Gabb Phone come pre-loaded with 13 essential apps, but parents can also have the option to add access to additional apps. Gabb has reviewed these additional apps for safety and security.
While both Gabb handheld phones have optional, parent-enabled third-party apps, there are a few differences between the devices.
Gabb Phone Plus Apps
Currently, the Gabb Phone Plus has 6 optional parent-enabled third-party apps. These include Weather, Bible Study, Gospel Library, Torah Study, Quran, and Sora.
More will regularly be added over time to the Gabb Phone Plus.

At the moment, the Gabb Phone also has 6 optional parent-enabled third-party apps. These are Weather, Bible Study, Gospel Library, Torah Study, Quran, and Sora as well.
