  • Does Gabb Wireless require a long-term contract?

    Gabb Wireless does not require a long-term contract. Our mission to protect kids and provide the best customer service experience possible is more important that locking you in to a long term commitment. You can start or stop your Gabb service anytime.

  • What is the right age to get my child a phone?

    The answer to that question is different for every family and for every child, but as more and more families cut the cord with traditional at-home phone service—and as parents have become increasingly concerned about their children’s safety and accessibility while outside the home—we’ve seen the age of the first phone become increasingly lower.

    Whether that age for your family is 8, 10, 12 or 14, we believe that a child’s first phone should be a phone first. The Gabb Phone and Gabb network are designed to provide parents with peace of mind while giving kids the freedom to enjoy unlimited talk and text without the distraction or dangers of browsing, apps, games and social media.

  • Can I add a Gabb Phone to my family plan?

    Gabb Wireless isn’t just a phone, it’s a cellular network—a complete ecosystem designed to keep kids safe. The Gabb Phone is designed to operate on the Gabb Wireless cellular network and cannot be transferred to other carriers.

  • How Do I know the service will be reliable?

    Gabb Wireless is built on America’s leading 4G LTE network. That means our users enjoy reliable connectivity and the largest coverage area possible.

  • When does my billing cycle begin?

    For purchases before April 2, 2020, your plan’s billing cycle begins on the 1st of each month and is billed on 3rd of each month.

    For purchases after April 2, 2020, your plan’s billing cycle begins on the 15th of each month and is billed on 17th of each month.

  • Can you guarantee the phone is really safe?

    We can’t control whether or not your child’s friends have potty mouths while texting, but we have done everything possible to create a safe technology environment for your son or daughter.

    We offer unlimited talk and text, but no browser, no app store, no games and no social media. These limitations are designed to protect kids from harmful content and harmful behaviors while still enabling them to connect with friends and family in a healthy way.

  • What are the features of the phone?

    The Z2 Gabb Phone boasts better cameras: 8 MP back / 5 MP front, Bluetooth for earbuds and speakers, MP3 player, optional group and picture texting, find my phone functionality with GPS. It also ships ready with essential apps like alarm, calendar, and calculator. Finally, the Z2 Gabb Phone still has the safety that all Gabb Phones have to keep kids safe. The phone comes free from internet, games, social media and app stores.

  • Is the phone really under $100?

    Yep, just $99—including activation and shipping.

    We think it’s a little silly to give a 10-year-old an $800 phone that is going to be treated rough and knocked around, so in developing a device, we really wanted to keep the cost low so it would make sense for kids and be reasonable for parents.

    We’ve partnered with ZTE—the world’s fourth-largest handset manufacturer—to create the Gabb Phone. They caught the vision of our mission and helped us create a really high-quality device at a price point that makes sense for kids and their families.

  • What is not on the phone?

    To provide parents with peace of mind while eliminating the need for clumsy parental controls (which many kids seem to outsmart), we’ve eliminated the browser and app store from our devices.

    That means you don’t have to worry about harmful content, online predators, gaming addiction, or the stress and anxiety that come with social media.

  • Where can I purchase a Gabb phone?

  • How long until my kid’s Gabb phone arrives after I order?

    Phones will start shipping on Aug. 25 and will take 4-6 days to ship.

    After debuting the Z2 Gabb Phone, Gabb Wireless discontinued the original Z1 Gabb Phone. Gabb Wireless prides itself on offering the latest technology at a fair price, and the Z2 contains all the features and more of the original Z1.

    New to the Z2 Gabb Phone are a fingerprint reader, Bluetooth connectivity, a faster processor, more ROM, and sharper cameras. In October 2020, GPS will be added via a software update. For just $99.99, it’s the best deal on the kids phone market.

    What if your son or daughter is using the original Gabb Phone? Don’t worry: Gabb will continue to support it for the foreseeable future.

  • How is the new Z2 Gabb Phone better than the old Z1 Gabb Phone?

    The Gabb Phone Z2 has everything parents and kids loved about the original Gabb Phone. Plus, it contains multiple new features, has even better battery life, and boasts a faster processor. 

    One new feature kids will love? The fingerprint reader. Instead of having to type in their password each time, the Z2 kids phone lets them simply press their finger to the device. 

    Another flagship feature is Bluetooth connectivity. Although the Z2 includes a headphone jack, the ability to stream music wirelessly means no more messing with cords. 

    Is your kid a shutterbug? Gabb’s Z2 kids phone has an 8MP camera in the rear and a 5MP one on the front. Kids can capture stunning scenery, before flipping the phone around to take a selfie with their friends.

  • Will a phone distract my kid from their schoolwork?
