Set your favorite photo of all your friends and families as their contact photo! That way whenever you call or text them you’ll be reminded of your favorite memory.
Creating and organize albums
Your Gallery app will create some albums, like Favorites and Screenshots. You can add a new album by tapping the three dots in the top right of the Albums tab and choosing New album. Type a name for your album and tap OK.
To add photos to an album, tap and hold a photo from the gallery view. Choose all the photos you want to add. Then tap the three dots in the top right corner and choose Move. Tap the album you want the photos to be in.
What’s the best way to organize your albums? Creating albums for events is a good option. For example, you could create an album for your summer vacation. Then, when your grandparents ask to see photos, they’re all in one place!
Creating collages and GIFs
To create a collage, or a group of several photos, tap the three dots in the top right of the Gallery app’s main screen and choose Collage maker. Choose up to 9 photos that you want to include in your collage and tap Next. Pick the style you want, and save your collage!
To create a GIF, tap the three dots in the top right of the Gallery app’s main screen and choose GIF maker. Choose up to 9 photos that you want to include in your GIF and tap Next.
Edit your settings using the tabs at the bottom of the screen. You can speed it up or slow it down, change up the order of the photos, and more. When you’re done, tap save to save your GIF.
Editing photos
You have lots of options to edit your photos in the Gallery app. Tap a photo to see it in full screen, then tap create to open the editor. From there, your options are at the bottom of the screen.
Have fun and play around with the tools! If you don’t like something, tap replay or history to undo.
Rotate: Rotate or flip your photo. This is handy if your photo accidentally shows up sideways.
Cropping: Crop your photo. Use this if you want to cut some parts out of the photo.
Filter: Choose from lots of filter options to change the coloring and style of your photo.
Gabb Pro Tip: Feeling goofy? Filters are a fun way to express yourself in your photos! Have a silly selfie contest with your best friend and see who can create the silliest, most fun selfie through filters.
Adjust: Edit the photo’s brightness, contrast, saturation, and more. For the photo editing pros!
Gabb Pro Tip: Was the room too dark when you took the photo? See if you can lighten the brightness so you can see your photo better.
Blur: Add a blur to your photo. Spread or pinch your fingers to change the size of the blur shape. Drag the scale at the bottom to give the photo more or less blurriness.
Mosaic: Add even more effects to your photo, like a tiled or brush look.
Doodle: Draw or add shapes to your photo.
