Keeping in Touch with the Contacts App

Who do you think you’ll call the most on your Gabb Phone? Who will you message the most? Some people, like your parents, probably come to mind right away. You can save all these people in your Contacts app to quickly and easily contact them. There are a few other things you can do in the Contacts app too!

Now we’ll cover some cool things you can do, like:

Creating a new contact

To add a new contact, tap add_circle from the main screen of the contacts app and enter their information.

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Phone number
  • Number type

To see more options, you can tap More fields. Here, you can add the person’s address, birthday, and set a fun custom ringtone for when they contact you!

Gabb pro Tips

Add in all your BFF’s birthdays! That way you never forget their big day, and can start their day off right with an awesome text filled with their favorite emojis.

If you want to set a contact photo, tap camera_alt at the top of the screen to either take a photo of the person or choose a photo from your Gallery.

Editing contacts

To make changes to a contact’s info, tap edit in the top right of their details screen. Once you’re finished making changes, tap Save.

Linking contacts

Did you forget you had a contact for someone already, and accidentally created two contact entries for the same person? On your Gabb phone, you can merge them into one. From your Contacts app’s main screen, tap and hold the first entry. Then tap the second entry, so both are selected. From there, tap link icon and then choose Link.
